Tappa obbligatoria per i visitatori sul lago d’ Iseo, lo spettacolo è unico e vanta pochi esempi al mondo. In località Cislano di Zone, raggiungibile da Marone, l’azione corrosiva dell’ acqua a contatto col terreno morenico della montagna, ha modellato questo territorio creando delle piramidi sulle cui sommità sono poggiati grossi massi che fungono da cappello protettivo per il terreno sottostante. La vita delle piramidi è legata al cappello protettivo, quando esso si stacca, la piramide di terra lentamente subisce un abbassamento dovuto all’ azione erosiva dell’acqua. Un sentiero, che parte dalla chiesetta di San Giorgio, ci conduce al belvedere da dove ammirare l’incomparabile spettacolo.
All’interno della riserva naturale delle Piramidi di Zone esiste un percorso, appositamente creato per rendere accessibile a tutti questo spettacolo naturale, lungo il quale troverete indicazioni e spiegazioni riguardanti le caratteristiche del territorio e le dinamiche del fenomeno.
